The fine print, in plain English.

How this site handles your information. Last updated July 17, 2026.

The short version

We collect almost nothing. If you send the contact form, we get your email and your message so we can reply. That is the whole story. No ad trackers, no analytics profiles, nothing sold to anyone.

For clients, the signed Master Services Agreement is the authoritative document. This page is the plain-English version; where the two differ, the Agreement controls.

What we collect

The contact form: your email address, the service you tag, and the message you write. It is delivered to our inbox by our email provider and used for one thing, replying to you.

Hosting logs: like every website, our hosting keeps standard technical logs (things like IP address and requested page) for security and uptime. We do not use them to identify visitors.

One browser flag: the site sets a small session value in your browser so the intro animation plays once per visit instead of on every page. It identifies nobody and clears when the tab closes.

What we never do

No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics cookies. No selling or renting personal information. No spam lists: writing to us gets you a reply from a person, not a drip campaign.

How engagements work

Every project is fixed-scope and quoted before work begins; work starts once the proposal is accepted and any deposit is received. Deposits reserve studio capacity and cover onboarding and work performed, and they are non-refundable.

Website builds can be paid 20% down with 12 or 18 monthly payments at 0% interest, or in full up front. Invoices are due on receipt, and accounts more than fifteen days late may see hosting and support paused until the balance is current.

Ownership, in plain terms

Your domain stays yours, always, and it transfers with you if you leave. The content we deliver for you, the words, images, and brand assets, is yours once everything is paid. The code underneath is Lux Protocol's and is licensed to your delivered site; that is what lets us keep every site we run fast, secure, and consistent.

If we part ways

Any monthly service can be cancelled by either side with thirty days' written notice, and it runs through the end of the paid period. If a Care Plan ends, hosting and support stop and the site may go dark, but your domain remains yours regardless.

After an engagement ends we keep your files and site backups for thirty days, then they may be permanently deleted. Ask for an export inside that window; our written termination confirmation includes a reminder of it.

Client work and end-user data

When we build and host software for a client, information collected from that client's customers belongs to the client. We host and process it only to provide the services, and we do not sell it or use it for our own purposes.

During an active Care Plan we keep routine backups as part of hosting. It is not an archival service: keep your own copies of critical business records.

Promises we don't make

We perform our work with professional skill and care, and we stand behind it. We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or sales; those depend on factors outside our control. Our services also rely on third-party platforms (hosting, domains, payments, delivery, search), and we are not responsible for their outages or policy changes, though we may substitute an equivalent provider where reasonable.

Our portfolio

We may display and describe work we built for you in our portfolio and marketing, and may place a discreet credit in your site footer, unless you opt out in writing. Say the word and it comes off.

Questions

Email [email protected]. Two people read it, and we reply within one business day. Engagements are governed by Louisiana law. If our practices ever change, this page changes with them.
