THE STUDIO

Two people.Software worth paying for.

“Software worth paying for” is the whole bar. If it isn't, we don't ship it.

Lux Protocol is Andrew Ponder and Nick Burgo, a two-person software studio in Mandeville, Louisiana. We design, build, ship, and maintain websites, web and mobile apps, and the cloud they run on. The two people who scope your project are the two people who write the code and answer the phone when something breaks.

That's the whole pitch. No account managers, no offshore handoff, no junior dev learning on your budget. Two people with depth means you get senior work on every line, decisions made in one conversation, and software that's still understandable a year later, because the people who built it are still the people maintaining it.

WE SAY YES TO
  • +Work where craft is the differentiator
  • +Fixed-scope projects we can ship well
  • +Clients who want to keep us on after launch
  • +Hard problems with a clear owner
WE SAY NO TO
  • Staff-aug / body-shop billing
  • “Make it look like [competitor]”
  • Scope nobody can define yet
  • Work we can't be proud of
Andrew Ponder
CO-FOUNDER · CEO · DESIGN + ENGINEERING
KNOWN FOR
The seam between design and engineering. Interfaces that feel as considered as they look. Mobile apps, AI pipelines, developer tools.
PROUD OF
Shipping products that real people use daily, where the polish goes all the way down to the parts nobody sees.
Nick Burgo
CO-FOUNDER · CTO · CLOUD + DEVOPS
KNOWN FOR
The systems that keep everything running at scale: DevOps pipelines, container architecture, the Azure infrastructure that turns ideas into deployed, resilient products.
PROUD OF
Infrastructure that's boring on purpose: observable, documented, and quietly bulletproof at 3am.
